Shipments who are not registered with Consignor, often ends up in Consignor's Autoprint error box and Consignor will create a follow up on why in the error log.
BxLogistics sends shipping information to Consignor OnPremises via files. Normally, creating the shipments works just fine, but if the order is missing information such as a postal code, is heavier than the carrier approves of, or has any other types of errors, Consignor will not approve the shipment and will therefore not automatically print labels.
If you have a new installation or a new carrier, it might be that there are errors or missing configurations for the specific carrier, but the troubleshooting steps remain the same regardless.
- Check to see if the shipment is in the Consignor "Autoprint errors" box
If the shipments are here, the can easily be opened and attempted to print out. You will then usually see why the shipments was stopped in the first place. - Check Consignor's error log
Click on "Log" and see if the description explains why the files were not accepted. This log will contain both technical and non-technical error messages, such as an order missing a postal code.
If you cannot find any trace of the shipment in Consignor, it may be that the Consignor reading job has stopped, or that there might be a configuration error in the BxLogistics setup. The first step will then be to look for the communication files, which requires access to the server, and is usually done by Consignor, our retailer or by BxSoftware.
