The packing slip printout from Visma.net is failing/does not print when the order is completed.
If the packing slip printouts are not coming through, there are a few different things to check first.
Error messages will appear in the BxAdmin log, and in some cases also on the handheld terminal. If it appears on the handheld terminal, it usually also appears in the BxAdmin log unless there is a case of temporary network issues on the handheld terminals.
404 error - Check to see if the BxEngine and/or BxSmartPrintPro services are running. A 404 error related to BxEngine will cause other services to not function on the handheld terminals or in BxEngine. Please restart the BxEngine service.
500/502 error - This usually occure when there are incorrect permissions for the Visma.net integration user, or when BxSmartPrintPro is being used as a print proxy. First, check to see if the BxSmartPrintPro service is running. If it is, try restarting it. If it still does not work, it is most likely due to the Visma.net integration user's permissions, which may not be properly set, as mentioned earlier in this article. If the user does have the necessary permissions, they may need to be re-applied for it to work properly.
Printer - In some cases the error may be caused by the print queue not working or no longer existing. It may have been deleted, renamed, or the IP address may have been changed, etc. If the printer name has been changed, it must be updated in Export to ERP -> pickinglist -> Export config -> printer. If the print queue has disappeared from the server/PC, it must be reinstalled. If the IP address on the printer itself has been changed, please contact your IT administrator so that they can update the correct IP in the print queue, or assign a static IP to the printer itself.
