      404: No service is hosted at the specified address

      If you receive a 404 "No service is hosted at the specified address" on the handheld terminal or mobile phone, it means that the BxEngine service is not functioning as it should.

      Error Message

      "<Error><Code>404</Code><Detail>No service is hosted at the specified address. TrackingId:xxxx, etc."

      The error occurs because the BxEngine service has stopped/failed to start, or that the server where the service is currently running has been turned off or crashed.

      Solution

      Start/restart the BxEngine service, or the server. Wait a few minutes and try again.
